Don't Drink

Don't Drink is an RPG Maker XP game that started as a joke with 15 minutes of gameplay and a few sprites.

After a lot of additional love pured on it, now has a solid hour of gameplay with many side quests to do!

I would say it's inspired by Earthbound and Undertale, but my love for Fear and Hunger also had its impact (hope you like coin tosses).

The game is free, but I also can receive support on Kofi if you have any problem with transactions. Support is, of course, optional!

Disclaimer: in order to play, I strongly recommend installing the xp_rtp104e right away! (It's already in the files)

What to download?

-I've simplified everything into a zip pack, so you should have enough with downloading and extracting. Used to have an exe before as a main file but gave a lot of trouble. This should be easier.

Does it work on MAC computers?

As far as I know, this old version of RPG Maker won't do the trick. Sorry!

I got the RGSS-RTP Standard not found error

Really fast to solve. You can install de RTP using the xp_rtp104e.exe file already added in the game folder. If for any reason you don't trust the file, you can download it in the official site here (Select XP and Download Run Time Package)

My computer says the files are harmful/infected

This is due to the files reputation and happen often when downloading indie games. Files have been thoroughly checked with my Antivirus and they are clean.  Sad to say, you probably need to disable Windows Defender for a sec.

You can find posts about this here, here or here. For future projects I'll try to stick to html games to avoid downloading files.
